Jason A. Isbrandt is a senior healthcare sales and growth executive with more than 20 years of experience driving market expansion, revenue growth, and organizational performance across government programs, managed care, provider networks, and life sciences. He brings deep expertise in Medicaid, Essential Plan, Child Health Plus (CHP), and other CMS-regulated markets, with a proven ability to scale high-performing teams and deliver sustainable results in complex healthcare environments.
Currently, Jason serves as New York State Sales Director and Growth Leader for Government Programs at UnitedHealthcare, where he leads a statewide organization of more than 100 professionals. In this role, he owns sales strategy and execution across Essential Plan, Medicaid, and CHP products, overseeing demand generation, new member acquisition, retention, and migration strategies. He partners closely with internal stakeholders, marketing agencies, and community-based organizations to expand local market penetration while ensuring full compliance with CMS regulations.
Prior to UnitedHealthcare, Jason held senior leadership roles at Cinq Care / G-Health Enterprises, where he served as Director of Provider Engagement, New Business Development, and Chief of Staff. He managed a provider network of more than 500 physicians across private practice, IPA, and ACO models, supported payer contract negotiations with leading health plans, and worked closely with local and state stakeholders on policies impacting healthcare delivery in Western New York. He also led enterprise marketing strategy across multiple healthcare organizations, strengthening brand presence and driving growth.
Earlier in his career, Jason built a strong commercial foundation in the pharmaceutical industry with organizations including AstraZeneca, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, and Sanofi-Aventis. He consistently ranked among the top performers nationally, earning multiple elite sales awards and recognition for leadership, training, and results. His experience spans hospital systems, specialty providers, and large geographic territories, contributing to his well-rounded perspective on healthcare commercialization.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Medaille College.
